1st Lt. Jordan C. S. Stern and Catherine E. Chiantella

Eileen and Noel Chiantella of Orchard Park announce the engagement of their daughter, Catherine Eileen Chiantella, to 1st Lt. Jordan C. S. Stern, son of Ann Swanson Stern and Edward Stern of Newton, Mass.

Miss Chiantella is a 2001 graduate of Nichols School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in economics from Georgetown University in 2005.

Her fiance is a 2000 graduate of Newton South High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Princeton University in 2004. He is a Marine Corps aviator.

A July 2007 wedding is planned.
