Couple united in afternoon ceremony

Mr. and Mrs. Paul C. Allan

Lori Anne Vallon married Paul Clement Allan in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006 at St. Philip the Apostle Parish in Cheektowaga. The Rev. Joseph Penkaul officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Janice and Francis Vallon of Depew. The groom is the son of Frances Allan of Simcoe, Ontario, and the late Donald Allan.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a beaded ivory short-sleeved satin gown by Jacquelin, with a fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet of 30 burgundy roses tied together with an ivory ribbon.

The maid of honor was Michelle L. O’Donnell, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Amy Wiese and Kathy Small, cousins of the bride; Laura Allan, sister of the groom; Jane Shanahan, friend of the bride; and Kristen Helwig and Lindsey Shafer, friends of the couple.

The best man was Peter C. Allan, brother of the groom. The ushers were Dale Vallon, brother of the bride; David Cichon, Kevin Wiese and Kevin Wartinger, cousins of the bride; Jeff Bowen, friend of the bride and groom; and Carl Graci, friend of the bride.

A reception was held at the Polish Falcons Club in Depew. The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas.
