Grey battles Red to 8-3 win

The Amherst Micron League had a second appearance game between team Red and team Grey on Sunday.

The game was quite fiercely fought with Grey ending up on top 8-3.

The scoring began from team Red, with Matthew Barbolini pushing one past Andrew Bruno.

However, it was all team Grey for quite some time, as Collin Mack scored the next goal to tie the game at 1-1. This was followed by a hat trick from Sean Macleay to make the score 4-1. Mack followed with his second goal to make the score 5-1.

Team Red tried to mount a comeback as Gunar Weppner scored to make the total 5-2.

However, team Grey countered with goals from Matt Bielinski, Macleay, and Lorenzo Zendano to make the score 8-2.

Michael Floccare followed with a goal from team Red to bring the score to 8-3, but that would be the final.

Both teams' goalies were awesome in net. Andrew Bruno from team Grey faced 10 shots on goal, allowing two by. Adam Pohrte faced 20 shots on net, allowing eight in.
