Williamsville Franciscans celebrate anniversaries

Nine Sisters of St. Francis from Williamsville celebrated their 50th, 60th, and 70th anniversaries at a concelebrated Mass of Thanksgiving on Oct. 7 at Ss. Peter and Paul Church.

Jubilarians included Sister Dolores Neunder, 70 years; Sisters Grace A. Knauber, Dominic Marie Tamburello; M. Beatrice Venditti 60 years; Sisters Mary Dolores Cook, M. Julia Hamilton, Catherine Meiler, Kathleen Murphy and Carleen Marie Stengel, 50 years.

Principal celebrant Rev. Richard Jedrzejewski, homilist, Rev. Msgr. Donald R. Wangler and master of ceremonies, Rev. Jerome E. Kopec, pastor of Ss. Peter & Paul Church, were joined by Bishop Donald W. Trautman, STD, SSL of the Diocese of Erie, Penn. and other priests and brothers who have been long time associates of the sisters of St. Francis.
