N. Helen Manzella, 100, of Eggertsville, a homemaker, died Monday, Nov. 20, 2006, in Harris Hill Nursing Home.
Born in Buffalo, she was the youngest of eight children.
She lived in the Parkside area for over 50 years, then moved to Williamsville in the early 1960's.
At age 93, she moved to Eggertsville to be with her daughter, Dr. Mary Ann Campo.
Mrs. Manzella attended Saint Margaret's grammar school and Sacred Heart Academy.
Her husband, Emil C. Manzella Sr., who died in 1989, was superintendent of deliveries and collection of mails for the United States Post Office.
Mrs. Manzella loved cooking, reading, and watching the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres.
Besides her daughter, Mrs. Manzella is survived by a son, Emil C., seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, Nov. 22 in St. Benedict's Church after prayers in Amigone Funeral Home.
