Andrew Sauer and Melinda Albrecht

Donna and Kenneth Albrecht of Clarence Center announce the engagement of their daughter, Melinda Albrecht, to Andrew Sauer, son of Janet Sauer of Buffalo and the late David Sauer.

Miss Albrecht is a 1999 graduate of Clarence High School. She earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Houghton College in 2003 and will graduate with her master's degree in elementary education from the University at Buffalo in February 2007. She is a sixth-grade teacher at Clarence Middle School.

Her fiance is a 1994 graduate of City Honors High School. He earned his bachelor's degree in secondary social studies from the University at Buffalo in 2002 and his master's degree in social studies from D'Youville in 2005. He works in marketing and business development at Reliable Propane in Clarence Center.

A May 2007 wedding is planned.
