Couple holds reception in parents' back yard

Mr. and Mrs. Kurt L. Machemer

Nancy L. Perkins married Kurt L. Machemer in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006 at the First Congregational Church in Falmouth, Mass. The Rev. Barbara Miner officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Celena and Dr. Neil Perkins of Lebanon, N.J. and Falmouth, Mass. The groom is the son of Marcia H. and Frederick E. Machemer Jr. of Williamsville and Emerald Isle, N.C.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a strappy empire waist dress with silver sequin embroidery and a simple veil with satin trim. She carried white roses and mini calla lilies accented with mini hydrangeas with apple green undertones.

The maids of honor were Drs. Rebecca and Sara Perkins, sisters of the bride.

The best men were Clark F. and Scott C. Machemer, brothers of the groom.

A reception was held under a white tent in the back yard of the bride's parents' home in Falmouth, Mass.

The couple is at home in Boston.
