A Ghostlight holiday tradition

Writer and director L. Don Swartz brings his "All Through the Night" to the Ghostlight Theatre for its eighth production.
Seven weary travelers are trapped in a rural train station by a blizzard on Christmas Eve and are visited at midnight by a group that changes their lives forever in Starry Night Theatre's "All Through the Night," Nov. 30 through Dec. 17.

Written and directed by L. Don Swartz "All Through the Night" had its world premiere at The Riviera Theatre in 1989 and has been produced around the country and in British Columbia. This is Starry Night's eighth production of the play.

"I was always complaining to people that there were no good original Christmas stories to perform - 'It's a Wonderful Life' wasn't available at the time," said Swartz. "Finally, everyone got sick of my complaining and told me 'shut up and write one.'"

The production features Debby Koszelak Swartz, Joann V. Mis, Vanessa Stipkovits, Bryan Cairnduff and David Nuijens.

Performances are at 8 p.m. Nov. 30, Dec. 1 and 2, 8 and 9, 15 and 16, and 2 p.m. Dec. 17 at the Ghostlight Theatre, 170 Schenck St., North Tonawanda. Tickets are $12 general, $10 for senior citizens and students, and are available by calling 743-1614. For more information, visit www.starr ynighttheatre.com.
