Birkmeyers celebrate 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Birkmeyer

Tom and Irene Birkmeyer of West Seneca celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary over an intimate dinner with their children and grandchildren.

Tom Birkmeyer married Irene H. Sabo on Nov. 17, 1956 at St. Bonaventure Church in West Seneca.

Tom is a retired bricklayer and Irene works for the Board of Elections. The couple are involved with the Carriagers Social Club at St. John Vianney Church. They enjoy traveling, cooking, collecting, and playing bingo.

The couple has seven children and 17 grandchildren.
