Couple honeymoons on Greek island

Mr. and Mrs. Matthew F. Popowsky

Margaret R. Neri married Matthew F. Popowsky in an evening ceremony on Saturday, May 20, 2006 at St. Paul's Cathedral in Buffalo. The Rev. Ethan J. Cole officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Martha A. and Dr. Richard C. Neri of Williamsville. The groom is the son of Cathy Frye and Sonny Popowsky of Harrisburg, Pa.

The bride was escorted by her mother and father.

She wore a strapless ivory Dupioni silk gown with gold embroidery by Pronovius. Her veil was cathedral length with gold edging and she carried a traditional bouquet of white calla lilies with the "Magic Hanky" bonnet she wore at her christening.

The maid of honor was Rebecca M. Neri, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Rebecca Popowsky, sister of the groom, and Daniella Adler, Allison Pringle Bennett and Lauren Zurenda, friends of the bride.

The best man was Christian Huffman, friend of the groom. The ushers were James Beha, Jeffrey Lezinski, Maikel O'Hanlon and Robert Pickard, friends of the groom.

A reception was held in the Mary Seaton Room of Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo.

After a honeymoon to Santorini Island, Greece, the couple is at home in Manhattan.
