Baby calls 911, throws phone in toilet

Friday, Nov. 3
+ An unwelcome guest was reported at an establishment on Millersport Highway. The intoxicated man was escorted out three times before leaving for a hotel.
A Wood Acres Drive resident was upset about a large truck parked in front of the house.
On Crosspoint Parkway a man reported that his wife had purchased a bagel that had blood on it.
A road-rage incident took place on Interstate 290 in which the suspect threw a rock at the complainant's windshield.
A Maynard Drive resident said he found a teenage male in black clothing in the back yard, and the teen told the resident that he needed to use the bathroom. The suspect left in a vehicle, and the complainant followed for a short time before returning home.
Saturday, Nov. 4
On Glenhaven Drive, a group of eight to 10 youths were at a vacant house and "inching their way up toward the house."
A Rue Madeleine resident reported seeing a group of youths with beer get out of a car and head toward the rear of Maple West Elementary School. The youths were gone upon police arrival.
"Something strange" was reported on Pheasant Run Road when a woman saw a man run past the house, yell "get rid of this," and throw a bloody knife onto the complainant's porch. One subject was transported to Erie County Medical Center with a hand laceration and a head injury.
A disturbance was reported on Millersport Highway in regard to a neighbor who was burning incense in the hallway and stomping on the floors.
A woman reported that her jacket was stolen from a bench at the Boulevard Mall. She left it there while she was walking.
Sunday, Nov. 5 An employee was stuck under a dishwasher on Sheridan Drive. No injuries were reported.
Four 911 hang-up calls were reported from a restaurant phone on Niagara Falls Boulevard. Police reported that it was youths playing with the phone.
A suspicious man was reportedly sitting on a curb and playing with a switchblade on Main Street.
An animal was reported in a home on Lemay Court. The caller didn't know if it was a squirrel or a raccoon.
Criminal mischief was reported by a Maple Road hotel. The clerk stated that a guest broke some lamps in the hallway.
Monday, Nov. 6
Two males were fighting about loud music in a hallway on Palmdale Drive.
A complainant reported that the muffler system had been taken off a new car on Sheridan Drive.
At the Public Storage on Niagara Falls Boulevard a complainant reported being stuck inside the gate, and the code was not working. Police reported a problem with the motor, and the cars had to stay inside overnight.
Larceny of a garbage can was again reported on Castle Court.
Tuesday, Nov. 7
A carload of drunken youths threw bottles all over an area at a shopping center on Niagara Falls Boulevard. When the crew from a business was cleaning up the glass, the youths started arguing with them.
An intoxicated male fell on Hillcrest Drive, causing lacerations to his face. He then passed out, and a family member signed the release form.
A wheelchair van was damaged sometime overnight on Bristol Drive.
Wednesday, Nov. 8
A motorist called police after being given the finger by the driver of a passing vehicle on Sheridan Drive. The suspect had pulled into Wegmans but was gone upon patrol arrival.
On Greengage Court a hang-up 911 call was made, and the phone was busy on call backs. A baby at the residence had thrown the phone in the toilet.
An unlocked vehicle on Eltham Drive was ransacked by an unknown person, but nothing was missing.
A welfare check was requested for a regular customer at a Niagara Falls Boulevard restaurant. The individual was yelling, screaming and swearing inside the bathroom.
Thursday, Nov. 9
A motorist on Interstate 290 reported seeing a female trying to walk across all lanes of traffic.
A fight over a dog was reported on Joe McCarthy Drive. A woman brought the dog over to visit a man, and he was refusing to return it.
A group of youths were playing hockey in the school lot on Dodge Road, and the teachers' cars were still in the lot. The complainant was concerned that the cars might get hit. The youths agreed to move to a vacant lot.
A legally blind passenger in a taxi reported that the driver gave her the wrong change.
