Psychic draws from energy, promotes healing and wellness
by JILL SCHMELZER Reporter

Cyndi Krupp suffered from a panic disorder that forced her to move from place to place.

Doctors would prescribe anxiety medications, but nothing seemed to work for Krupp, a wife, mother and engineer.

Krupp's mother and grandmother suffered from the same panic disorder, and she did not want to pass the trait onto her two children.

So Krupp sought help from a spiritual healer who, she said, taught her how to meditate and how to surrender to God and the universe.

She attended the School for Spiritual Healing and Prophecy in Lily Dale, N.Y., where she learned how to heal people through energy.

Today, Krupp is a mystic, metaphysician and reiki master at Natural Harmony Holistic Health Center in Amherst.

Everyone has experienced emotional distress or suffered from a disease, she said, adding that these ailments are caused by blocks of energy.

"We're really not physical, we're emotional beings," Krupp said, noting that prescription medications are right for some people but not all.

Krupp said she draws from the energy of the universe and divine to heal. She believes in the mystic world, which Krupp said is the belief in the things people cannot see.

"Everyone has intuition and the ability to draw from the divine energy," she added. "It's a feeling, like the moment you have met the right person."

Most people have, at one time or another, walked into a crowded room and have had their energy drained. Krupp has learned to care about people in need but said she no longer allows them to take her positive energy. She draws from the divine energy to help the patient feel better, whether the need is emotional or physical.

"I know I affect the lives of others, and that affects my life - it's a tremendous blessing," she said.

During her sessions, Krupp employs a variety of techniques on people who are seeking help. Reiki is a Japanese method of using energy to promote healing and maintain wellness. It it used to achieve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual balance.

In the reiki method, Krupp said she calls on angels to move the energy through "laying on of hands." She says a prayer and lets the energy flow.

When she does a psychic or "intuitive" reading, Krupp said she is connecting with that person's energy. She finds blocks, which are ultimately problems the person is facing, and together they work on finding a way to release that negative energy.

Krupp said another method of doing this is looking into the person's past lives, because the two lives are interrelated. It may be a situation they have faced before or a person they have encountered in the past. Krupp does this through meditations, which she said ultimately changes the past life so the person can move on.

Krupp said she has had so many of these experiences in her life that she can't not believe in it anymore.

Everyone has the ability to do this, she said. But not everyone is a healer.

"We are all brought here to fulfill different missions," Krupp said. "Everyone has the power to connect with the divine, to release their inner genius - it is the most love you feel."

She works with one boy who has cerebral palsy.

One day he said, "My brain is the boss of me," Krupp said.

"No, you're the boss of your brain," she replied to him, noting that it's a lot of work to understand that people are not their brains, but they have the ability to tell the brain what to do.

Krupp said she also has the ability to connect with people who have died. Through these experiences Krupp said she learned that people on earth are not alone.

During her readings she doesn't promise that a dead relative of the client will communicate with her. She does, however, go into the session with the intent to provide the person with a message that will best serve him or her at that moment.

"I believe we are here to learn how to have fun," Krupp said. "When you are filled with satisfaction - love, joy, laughter - then everything else automatically falls into place."

According to Krupp, she serves those looking for answers.

"If they are not satisfied with where they are today - they can be served by the work that we do," Krupp said. "My intent is to forever become an instrument of God - of light, love, joy and peace."
