Couple wed in Lancaster

Jennifer Goembel married Anthony Martin in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006 at St. Mary's on the Hill Church in Lancaster. The Rev. Raymond Corbin officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Joan and Bruce Goembel of Lancaster. The groom is the son of Patricia and Michael Martin of Lancaster.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The matron of honor was Karyn Hester, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Anastasia Taylor, Jillian Orlowski, Kristin Gulino, Jennifer Aquino, Cristin Sottile, Amanda Gessner and Erika Henderson, friends of the bride and groom. The flower girl was Ana Hester, goddaughter and niece of the bride.

The best man was Chris Martin, brother of the groom. The ushers were Jeffrey Martin, brother of the groom, and Matthew Healy, Anthony Palma, Joshua Kaplan, Michael Rinaldi, Adam Glynn and Neal Glazier, friends of the bride and groom. The ring bearer was Gavin Martin, son of the bride and groom.

A reception was held at the Glen Oak Golf Course. After a honeymoon cruise to the Mexican Riviera, the couple is at home in Cleveland.
