Tis the season for Christmasville

View the original AM&A's animated windows during Christmasville, from Nov. 11 through Jan. 7 in the Village of Lancaster.

The Village of Lancaster will be transformed into the magical Village of Christmasville, Nov. 11 through Jan. 7.

Experience the magic of Christmas as the village turns into a winter wonderland of decorations, lights, music, special events, and Lancaster Opera House performances.

Highlighting the event are the original AM&A's animated windows, plus new window displays. Stroll down Central Avenue, West Main Street and Broadway Avenue and enjoy the Christmas windows.

The windows will feature AM&A's original 1948 windows depicting "T'was The Night Before Christmas" and "An Old Fashion Christmas." The Lancaster Opera House, along with many talented artists and sponsors, have restored the original 1948 windows to their original splendor and created new ones.

Families traveled to downtown Buffalo for the much-anticipated holiday tradition for more than 60 years, and the Lancaster Opera House returns the holiday tradition to Western New York. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available on select weekends at the Kringle Kafe and Gift Shop on Central Avenue.
