Amherst Players put on a 'Rosie' production

Everything will be "Really Rosie" for the cast of youngsters featured in the Amherst Players' latest production.
The Amherst Players are showing that their latest show is literally kids play when "Really Rosie" is performed Nov. 11-19.

Directed by Debra Cole, "Really Rosie" features children ranging in age from 8 to 14.

"Really Rosie" is about a young girl who has enchanted all of the neighborhood children by making a movie about her life. Watch the kids sing songs as they audition to get a part in the movie.

"Really Rosie," written by Maurice Sendak with music by Carole King, will be performed at 1:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, Nov. 11, 12, 18 and 19, at the Harlem Road Community Center, 4255 Harlem Road, Snyder, just south of Main Street.

The production features the talents of Lindsay Andrews, Lucy Bell, Alexandra Birner, Sofia Carbonara, Zoe Chmielewski, Elena Ciotta, Melina Ciotta, Patrick Crocker, Emily Dischinger, Julia Drozdowsky, Alyssa Fuoco, Lauren Marshall, and Emilia Navarrette.

Tickets are $10 each, $8 for seniors and students, and $5 for children under 12.
