Sedaka is back
After more than 50 years, American pop singer, pianist and songwriter Neil Sedaka shows no signs of slowing down, as he performs this weekend with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.
The hits include "Oh! Carol," "Calendar Girl," "Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen," "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do," "Laughter in the Rain," "Bad Blood," with Elton John, and others.
Sedaka was also a songwriter for other artists. Songs include "Stupid Cupid" and "Where the Boys Are" for Connie Francis, "Love Will Keep Us Together" for the Captain and Tennille, and others.
Performances are at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, and Saturday, Nov. 11, at Kleinhans Music Hall, Symphony Circle, off Richmond Avenue, Buffalo. Tickets range from $25 to $72, and are available at the box office, 885-5000, and through Tickets.com at 888-223-6000 and www.tickets.com.
