Kadimah celebrates 'birthday'

Kadimah School of Buffalo will celebrate its "First Year Birthday Bash" with a community celebration that includes magic, ice cream sundaes, and a raffle drawing at which one student will win a limousine ride from Advantage Limousine, to school with Headmaster Jeff Schapiro.

The hanging of a school quilt, collaboratively designed by students and faculty will also take place.

The birthday celebration is planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19 at Kadimah School of Buffalo, located at 1085 Eggert Road in Amherst.

"We're looking forward to celebrating this exciting day with families, alumni, supporters and community members," Schapiro said. "It's a great opportunity for families who are considering our school to come and in and meet our wonderful Kadimah family."
