Cody Smith, Tom Woodford and Jarret Danni, members of Boy Scout Troop 444 from Amherst, recently performed a flag retirement ceremony in conjunction with the Eggertsville Hose Company's open house. Troop 444 collected worn and torn flags for six months and retired more than 100 flags at the ceremony.
