Susan J. Grelick Assembly - 148th
D, WF

G re l i c k
As an attorney who holds three master's degrees, I am well-prepared for the legal and economic challenges of state government.

Having served the people of Amherst as town supervisor and town clerk, I understand the issues that face this community and how to address them at the state level.

During my tenure as town supervisor, Amherst was repeatedly rated among the best and safest places to live in America and received the highest possible bond rating.

I am running for the Assembly because I know the issues that are important to local residents of Amherst, North Tonawanda and Pendleton, such as reducing taxes, health care reform, public education funding, job creation and revitalization.

As town supervisor I was instrumental in attracting new business to Amherst such as GEICO, APV and Northrop Grumman, and maintaining and expanding businesses in Western New York such as National Fuel and HSBC, bringing thousands of new job opportunities to Western New Yorkers, while creating 10 new parks and acquiring green space.

As a member of the Democratic majority in the Assembly, with a new governor, I will be more able and effective in securing our community's future than my Republican opponent, who has for four terms endorsed the failed policies of the Pataki administration and served the agenda of special interests.

As your representative, I promise I will put the interests of this community first. I need your support on Nov. 7 so we can get a fresh start in Albany, propelling this great community toward further prosperity.
