DIRECTOR - Certified public accountant Peter X. Bellanti of Williamsville has been named director of tax services at Fox & Company LLP. He has more than 40 years experience in the areas of individual, estate and corporate taxation. Bellanti is a past-president of the Buffalo Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and was named "one of America's best tax advisors" by Money Magazine.
CHIEF ESTIMATOR - Gary G. Grimmer recently joined Picone Construction Corporation of Williamsville as chief estimator. He has more than 20 years experience in estimating and management, involving a diverse range of educational, industrial and commercial construction projects. Also, Picone Construction Corporation is celebrating its 75th anniversary.
CHAIRMAN - William M. Collins of Williamsville has been named as the chairman of the Medaille College Board of Trustees. Collins is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America and a principal of Travers Collins & Company. He is the chairman of the board of trustees of the YMCA of Buffalo Niagara, vice chair of People, Inc. and a board member of the Erie Canal Harbor Development Corp.
DEPARTMENT CHAIR - Williamsville resident Frank V. Bright, PhD, University at Buffalo distinguished professor of chemistry and A. Conger Goodyear professor of chemistry, has been named chair of the department of chemistry in the UB College of Arts and Sciences. Bright has been a faculty member for 19 years, and previously was associate chair of the department of chemistry.
DOCTOR JOINS PRACTICE - Dr. David Brauer of Amherst recently joined Lifetime Health Medical Group, in the primary care practice at the West Seneca Health Center. Dr. Brauer completed his medical school and residency at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.
