Hours before storm - turkeys on police radar

Friday, Oct. 6
+ A Sheridan Drive restaurant employee reported that four teenagers came in and asked for a cup, then got back into their car and poured alcohol into the cup.
On Willow Ridge Drive a resident said five to six teenagers were sitting in her yard, drinking and smoking at the picnic table.
A person called from Niagara Falls Boulevard because a man was carrying a flashlight and trying to cross the road, and the caller was afraid the man might get hit by a car.
Saturday, Oct. 7
A Buckeye Road resident complained that there was loud chanting and people were clapping their hands in the neighborhood. She was upset by the noise because her husband is ill.
Police were called to Callodine Avenue about a fight between two brothers over fishing equipment that was stuck in the rug.
A Clearfield Drive resident was upset that one of the neighbors was draining his pool and causing flooding in the back yards.
A caller from Saratoga Road was concerned for the safety of two teenagers because they were on the steps of a church wearing in-line skates.
Sunday, Oct. 8
A Dodge Road resident called for help in getting a bat out of her house. The animal was caught in a coffee can.
Two "heavyset" teenage girls were reportedly walking down Vine Lane swearing and pulling up mailbox flags.
A crow was reportedly flying around in a Campbell Boulevard resident's room.
A Niagara Falls Boulevard restaurant reported that a vehicle with teenagers pulled up, and one of the teens threw a water bottle at an employee.
Monday, Oct. 9
A Longmeadow Road resident reported that two boys were knocking on his daughter's window and then took off toward six corners. Reportedly one of the "knockers" was the complainant's son.
A complainant reported that a package was dropped off at a "funny time" at a business on North Bailey Avenue. The box appeared to be magazines.
On Sweet Home Road a house was hit by something that appeared to be bottle rockets. No damage was reported.
A Teakwood Terrace resident reported that a raccoon was trying to get into the sewer.
Tuesday, Oct. 10
A motorist on Interstate 990 reported that a windshield was chipped and cracked by debris from a concrete truck that was dropping stones.
Two men were reportedly acting suspicious on Hopkins Road when they entered the men's bathroom. One male reportedly left, and it was reported that the bathroom was clear when police arrived.
Someone in a car on Interstate 290 was reportedly spraying other vehicles with Silly String.
Wednesday, Oct. 11 A 30-year-old man reportedly stole a carton of cigarettes from a Millersport Highway store, and the plate number on the car matched a vehicle that was reported stolen from Lackawanna the previous day.
A Glen Oak Drive resident complained that a group of youths were either shooting a gun or blowing off fireworks, but the complainant did not see a gun.
A Lily Brooke Court resident was upset that a "heavyset" female was taking pictures of the house.
A guest at a Bassett Road hotel reported that a $900 watch was either lost or stolen.
Thursday, Oct. 12
On American Campus Drive, a group of people were reportedly screaming and throwing things at the windows.
A Sundridge Drive resident complained that people were driving snowmobiles on the lawn.
A Chestnut Ridge Road resident heard shots fired and thought someone was shooting at the turkeys.
A Berkley Road resident was concerned that someone was in the closet. The suspicious person turned out to be the daughter's friend.
