Announcements Savor the Flavor at the Broadway Market in Buffalo at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, and enjoy the Market's old-world charm. Future bus group tours are also available. Squeaky Wheel Artist-in-Residence Jason Dee will hold a screening at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, at 712 Main St., Buffalo. Dee will present the work he created as part of his month-long residency. He has been working with painted scenes of the moon taken from films from the 1950s and early '60s, creating a looping panoramic moonscape. He will also present and talk about the work that has influenced him as an artist. Admission for the screening is $5 general, $4 for members. The Ten Lives Club will hold a Murder-Mystery Dinner Theatre at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, at Fontana's Banquet Center, 2440 Clinton St., West Seneca. Cost is $30. The Charles E. Burchfield Nature & Art Center is holding its next Volunteer Meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at 2001 Union Road, West Seneca. Shakespeare in Delaware Park will hold a special performance of "Mark Twain Live!" starring Mike Randall on Nov. 18 at the Buffalo Seminary, 205 Bidwell Parkway, Buffalo. A wine tasting and hors d'oeuvres reception will be at 6:30 p.m., followed by the performance at 7:30 p.m. Saul Elkin, founder and artistic director of Shakespeare in Delaware Park will introduce the program. The performance will benefit Shakespeare in Delaware Park. Tickets are available for Point of Grace and Scott Krippayne "Winter Wonderland" concert, coming to the Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church at 6 p.m. Dec. 3. The annual Christmas concert, also featuring the Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church's Celebration Choir, will be held at Eastern Hills' main campus, 8445 Greiner Road in Clarence. Point of Grace is contemporary Christian music's most popular "girl group," having almost 30 No. 1 hits on Christian radio. The Frank Lloyd Wright's Graycliff Estate in Derby is now holding tours through Nov. 26. The docent-led tours are from 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; 11 a.m., noon, 1, 2 and 3 p.m. Saturdays; and noon, 1, 2, 3 and 4 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students. Reservations are required by calling 947-9217. Graycliff will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, but will be open with extended tour times on Friday, Nov. 24, as well as the remainder of the Thanksgiving weekend. In December, tours will take place at 11 a.m. Dec. 26, 27, 28, 29 and Dec. 30, weather per mitting. Six Flags Darien Lake is offering Dream Nite, which will give six winners the chance to host an exclusive night at the theme park, and invite up to 100 of their friends and family to celebrate with them. When Six Flags guests purchase and activate a 2007 season pass, they will be automatically entered to win their Dream Nite. The contest runs through May 28, 2007.
