Clarence couple celebrates 50 years

Winifred and Robert Blemel of Clarence celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Robert Blemel married Winifred Neuhaus on Oct. 6, 1956 at St. Mary's Church in Swormville.

Robert is retired from Clarence Bowling Academy as a manager. Winifred is a homemaker. The couple enjoys gardening, bowling and visiting with friends and family.

The couple has lived in Clarence for more than 50 years. They have three children and five grandchildren.
