Jeanine K. Blood married Jerry D. Slipko in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, July 8, 2006 at St. George's Antiochian Orthodox Church in Lewiston. The Rev. Paul Solberg officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Marilyn J. and Edward C. Blood of Orchard Park. The groom is the son of Elaine C. and Gerald Slipko of Lewiston.
The bride was escorted by her father.
She wore an ivory satin, A-line, strapless gown with hand-sewn pearls and beading, and she carried a bouquet of calla lilies and ivory roses with blue and green hydrangeas.
The maid of honor was Jolene K. Blood, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Natalie Slipko, sister of the groom, and Elizabeth Fingeret and Jennifer Di- Pasquale, friends of the bride. The flower girl was Moira Reine Blood, niece of the bride.
The best man was Douglas A. Potter, friend of the groom. The ushers were Christopher Mazur, Tom Brady Jr. and Charles Fiacco, friends of the groom.
The ring bearer was Gabriel J. Blood, nephew of the bride.
A reception was held at Como Restaurant in Niagara Falls.
After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple is at home in Lewiston.
