Kathy Romanowski and Michael Vallone

Carolyn and Paul Romanowski of Getzville announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathy Romanowski, to Michael Vallone, son of Charles and Jane Vallone of Orchard Park, and the late Marlene Vallone.

Miss Romanowski is a 1994 graduate of Williamsville North High School. She earned her bachelor's degree in communications from the University at Buffalo in 1998. She is a public relations manager for Junior Achievement of WNY. She is a member of the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus, Buffalo/Niagara Sales and Marketing Executives and the UB Mentor Program.

Her fiance is a 1987 graduate of Grand Island High School. He is a business development manager for Advanced Waste Solutions.

A May 2007 wedding, with a reception at the Niagara Falls Country Club and a honeymoon in Costa Rica, is planned.
