Philip Cortese and Kristin Sorge

Joanne and Martin Sorge of Rochester announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Sorge, to Philip Cortese, son of Diane and Domenic Cortese of Clarence.

Miss Sorge is a 2000 graduate of Gates-Chili High School. She earned her bachelor's degree in business management from Canisius College in 2004. She is an office manager for Powers Road Medical Practice and Chestnut Ridge Family Practice of Catholic Health System.

Her fiance is a 2000 graduate of Clarence High School. He earned his bachelor's degree in business management from Canisius College in 2004. He is a project manager for Cortese Brothers Construction.

A June 2007 wedding at Sacred Heart Cathedral, with a reception at the Crowne Plaza in Rochester is planned. The couple will honeymoon on the Mayan Riviera.
