Vivienne MacDonald Ross, community theater member

Vivienne MacDonald Ross, formerly of West Seneca and Williamsville, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006, in Comrie, Scotland.

Born in Scotland, Mrs. Ross lived and worked in the Buffalo area for almost 30 years. She was a member of local amateur theater groups and the Buffalo branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society.

She returned to her native Scotland in 1990 where she and her husband belonged to the Comrie Theatre Group. She was also a volunteer of the Comrie Gardening Organization, which was dedicated to beautifying the community.

She loved to make crafts and while she was ill, made dolls for needy children in the Buffalo area.

Mrs. Ross is survived by her husband, Gordon; two daughters, Lynda and Wendy; a brother, Stephen; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in Comrie, Scotland on Oct. 14.
