Lillian E. Miano, 83, of Getzville, a bookkeeper, died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, in Hospice Buffalo, Inc.

Born Lillian Gengo in Batavia, she was a graduate of Lafayette High School.

She was a bookkeeper with Hart Hotels for nine years.

Mrs. Miano also enjoyed gardening, furniture refinishing, traveling, and theater.

Mrs. Miano is survived by two daughters, Nancy Miano and Denise Hoover; a son, Gary; two sisters, Jeanne Forell and Sandra Drumm; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday, Oct. 10 from the Tonawanda Chapel of Amigone Funeral Home and St. Pius X Church.
