Depew couple celebrates in Las Vegas

Frank and Lorretta Karczewski of Depew celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a dinner reception at Fanny's with family and friends and also with a trip to Las Vegas.

Frank Karczewski married Lorretta Knaszak on Oct. 6, 1956 at St. John Kanty Church in Buffalo.

Frank is retired from the paper recycling industry, and Lorretta has made her career as a homemaker. They love gardening and cooking and are members of St. Barnabas Church.

The couple has five children and 11 grandchildren and are expecting another grandchild.
