Bride wears 'Gone With the Wind'-style gown

Jillian Cherre married Joseph Cronin in a late afternoon ceremony on Friday, Oct. 6, 2006 at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Parish in Cheektowaga. Monsignor Peter Popadick and the Rev. Robert Yetter officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Sandra and Thomas Cherre of Cheektowaga. The groom is the son of Caterina Cronin of Niagara Falls, and the late Donald Cronin, formerly of Williamsville.
The bride was escorted by her father.
She wore an ivory "Gone With the Wind"-style gown featuring a bodice and hem trimmed with rum pink satin. She also wore a cathedral veil and carried a Victorian style cascading bouquet, along with her grandmother's mother-of-pearl rosary.
The maid of honor was Lynn Monteleone, cousin of the bride. The bridesmaids were Jessica and Rachael Utech, cousins of the bride; MaryJo Burns, sister of the groom; Rachelle Burns, niece of the groom; and Gretchen Szymanski, Lisa Pollak, Melissa Steszewski and Pam Sleasman, all friends of the bride.
The best man was Brian Cronin, brother of the groom. The ushers were Geoffrey Burns, brother in-law of the groom; Nick Cherre, brother of the bride; and Ken Rammell, friend of the groom.
A reception was held at Samuel's Grande Manor in Williamsville.
After a honeymoon in Curacao, the couple will be at home in Snyder.
