Couple travels to Cancun

Mr. and Mrs. Sean M. Harrington

Melinda Ann Meiler married Sean Michael Harrington in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006 at Akron Falls Rock Garden in Akron. Judge Dennis R. Freeman officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Patricia and Martin Meiler of Lancaster. The groom is the son of MaryEllen Harrington and George Harrington, both of Akron.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a white satin gown with lace trim, and a long, beaded train. She carried a bouquet of fall flowers.

The maid of honor was Lindsey Meiler, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Judy Witucki and Sara Meiler, friends of the bride. The flower girl was Madison Harrington, daughter of the bride and groom.

The best man was Kevin Andrews, friend of the groom. The ushers were Steve Meiler, cousin of the bride, and Rick Gruss, friend of the groom. The ring bearer was Evan Meiler, godson of the bride.

A reception was held at the Newstead Fire Hall in Akron.

The couple is honeymooning in Cancun, Mexico. They reside in Akron.
