 Rehearsals for the Community Advent Choral's presentation of Handel's "Messiah" with soloists and chamber orchestra will take place in East Aurora.  The Buffalo Museum of Science has hired Thomas A. LaFleur as its new director of development. LaFleur will be responsible for all aspects of fund-raising. He comes to the museum with extensive experience in corporate foundation giving and capital campaign management as well as major gifts and annual fund execution. Prior to this position, he was the director of the annual fund at Canisius College and associate director of annual programs at the University at Buffalo.

 The Buffalo Museum of Science has named Anne E. Conable as its director of marketing and sales. An employee of the museum since early 2005, Conable will continue to direct all internal and external communication and marketing functions.
