Wood re-elected town GOP chairman

Marshall Wood was unanimously re-elected to his second term as the Amherst Republican chairman by more than 150 town Republican committeemen and committeewomen, according to James Domagalski, chairman of the Erie County Republican Committee.

The vote took place Thursday at the Amherst Independent Health Youth and Family Center in Williamsville.

"This election victory was unanimous for Marshall Wood because he is an inclusive, positive, forward thinking Republican town chairman," Domagalski said. "Proof of this is the election of so many qualified, young Republicans Wood brought into leadership as his fellow, new GOP officers,"

The other Amherst Republican Committee officers elected to two-year terms are: first vice chair, Marjory Jaeger; second vice chair, Philip Gulisano; secretary, Carol Pyne; assistant secretary, Meagan Larwood; treasurer, Joe Spino; assistant treasurer, Steven Sanders; and sergeant-at-arms, Michele Johnson.
