Gannons mark 60 years with blessing

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Gannon

Gloria and Lawrence Gannon of Amherst celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a renewal of vows blessing and a dinner celebration at Sean Patrick's Emerald Isle.

Lawrence Gannon married Gloria Mauer on Aug. 31, 1946 at Christ Lutheran Church in Buffalo.

Lawrence is a retired maintenance supervisor from New York Telephone. He enjoys woodcarving.

Gloria worked in the offices of New York Telephone. She belongs to the Williamsville Garden Club.

Both enjoy birdwatching.
