Couple mark anniversar y with sing-along

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Harbison

Gladys and Jim Harbison of Eggertsville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a party on Oct. 1 at the Buffalo Marriott. The party included a sing-along of old songs.

Jim Harbison married Gladys Rumbaugh on Sept. 28, 1946 at Pleasantville Church in Pleasantville, Pa.

Jim is a retired barrel dealer for Harbison Bros. Inc. Gladys is retired registered nurse who served in World War II and trained and worked at Meyer Hospital in Buffalo. They belong to the University Presbyterian Church.

The couple has five children, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
