Couple exchanges grandparents' rings

Mr. and Mrs. Brad Schumacher
Olya Netchitailova married Brad Schumacher in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 12 at the Randall Memorial Baptist Church in Williamsville. The Rev. Mark Virkler, uncle of the groom, officiated. The couple exchanged rings that the groom's grandmother and late grandfather exchanged at their wedding 60 years ago.

The bride is the daughter of Vera and Alexander Netchitailova of Russia. She attends Canisius College as a graduate student and lives with her American "parents," Bee and Richard Phillips. She was escorted by Richard Phillips.

The groom is the son of Rebecca and Ronald Schumacher of Clarence Center. Clarence Center.

The bride wore an ivory strapless satin gown with beige folds on a wrapped skirt and a tiara veil edged with matching ivory satin. She carried a bouquet of white roses with peach rose accents.

The maid of honor was Irina Maxwell, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Heather Wilber and Kristin Schumacher, sisters of the groom. The flower girl was Grace Goldstein, daughter of a friend of the groom.

The best man was Joshua Virkler, cousin of the groom. The ushers were Matthew Wilber, brother-in-law of the groom, and Michael Halberg, friend of the groom. The ring bearers were Lucas and Connor Wilber, nephews of the groom.

A reception was held in the garden of the groom's parents in Clarence Center.

After a honeymoon in Lake Murray, S.C., the couple is at home in Grove City, Pa.
