Editor's note: the following programs will be held at the Amherst Center for Senior Services, 350 John James Audubon Parkway.

MATCH POINT will be showed at 12:20 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, starring Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers and Emily Mortimer.

CALLING 911 will be taught from 10:30 a.m to noon Thursday, Oct. 5 by Jim Zymanek, director of emergency services for the Town of Amherst. Contact Deborah Zimmerman at 636-3055 ext. 130 if interested in attending.

LINCOLN LORE will be held Wednesday, Oct. 11 for an Abraham Lincoln program presented by Michael Valentic. Not only can he dance, but he is also a Lincoln historian. There is no fee but make reservations at the volunteer reception desk, 636-3059 by Friday, Oct. 6.

BOOK LOVERS CLUB will discuss "Girl with a Pearl Earring" by Tracy Chevalier at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 28. "March" by Geraldine Brooks will be discussed at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 26.

SAVE THE DATE Wednesday, Oct. 4 is the second annual Healthy Aging Conference.

BEING YOUR BEST AND MANAGING STRESS will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12. This is an 90-minute workshop which teaches four steps to prevent or control any illness.
