Birds said to get revenge on car; police claim its not a crime

Friday, Sept. 15

+ Youths knocked over a portable toilet on Dellwood Road.

 A squirrel was locked in a bathroom at a home at the Paddock.

 Eleven semi-dead rats were found in a Dumpster on Main Street.

Saturday, Sept. 16

 A Chevrolet Trailblazer was spinning around in a parking lot on Niagara Falls Boulevard. The driver also harassed women as they walked out of the restaurant.

 Forty youths were reported to be walking in the middle of Sundridge Drive refusing to move for cars.

 Youths were throwing apples at the back of a house on Hopkins Road.

 A person on Denrose Drive had a wild turkey on his car and wanted the police to scare it off.

 A caller reported prostitutes were throwing a party at an apartment complex on Peppertree Drive. They were said to be "working inside" and "having a drug party." There was no problem. The resident of the apartment said to be holding the party had lived there for four years and was having friends over.

Sunday, Sept. 17

 A woman outside a home on Longmeadow Road was yelling obscenities.

 A person on Chapel Woods heard fireworks going off in the back yard, but was afraid to look out the window.

 A child on Arlington Road was seen running naked in the back yard with two dogs.

Monday, Sept. 18

 A group of men were playing loud music and talking loudly on Allenhurst Road.

 A person on West Klein Road reported that his neighbor did something to his newly installed black top. Police said it was mud, and it could be washed off.

 A group of men were making a lot of noise on Albion Avenue and flashing their headlights on and off at passing cars.

 A man on Carriage Circle fell out of a tree.

Tuesday, Sept. 19

 Someone threw sockets at a home on Dellwood Road. The caller didn't see anyone, but the objects went flying past her head.

 A dog that appeared to be foaming at the mouth was seen running through the Capen Boulevard neighborhood.

 A suspicious bag was left in the bus shelter on Alberta Drive. It contained dirty old clothes.

Wednesday, Sept. 20

 A small dog was locked in a car on Niagara Falls Boulevard for nearly two hours.

 Two teens were smoking marijuana in a car at a Laundromat on Palmdale Drive.

 A resident on Union Road complained that her neighbor cut down her bushes. The neighbor denied the allegations.

 A woman standing in the middle of Sheridan Drive looked "drugged out." She left by the time police arrived.

Thursday, Sept. 21

 A driver, who may have been intoxicated, was seen running red lights on Millersport Highway. The vehicle was not located.

 A child on Fairgreen Drive called 911 claiming that someone stole his belongings from down the road. The grandmother got on the phone and said there was no problem.

An eighth-grade student at a school on Opal Court claimed to be stalked by another student.

 A woman on Park Club Lane reported that a man in a red pickup truck was following her. She was concerned because someone stole her trash.

Friday, Sept. 22

 An environmental truck was reportedly all over the road and cutting cars off on Interstate 290.

 A customer at a store on Transit Road parked her car in a handicapped spot. She claimed a bird purposely defecated on her van. Police advised her that bird droppings on her car cannot be considered criminal mischief or harassment.

 A man was observed putting cough syrup down his pants at a store on Maple Road.
