A Mass of Christian Burial was offered Thursday, Sept. 21 in Christ the King Catholic Church for Mary K. Bart.

Mrs. Bart, 77, a retired school nurse and teacher, died Monday, Sept. 18, 2006, in her Snyder home.

Born in Buffalo,

she graduated from Akron High School. A certified nurse, she also graduated from Strong Memorial Nursing School and the University of Buffalo School of Nursing.

Mrs. Bart retired as a school nurse for Maryvale Central schools.

She served as an officer for the Buffalo Federation of Women's Clubs and was president of its Honorarians. She also was an avid bridge player.

Mrs. Bart is survived by her husband, John S.; a son, John C.; and a sister, Ann Shea.
