LOCKS OF LOVE
Katherine Tramposch, 15, of East Amherst donated more than 10 inches of her hair to Locks of Love. She is a sophomore at the Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart in Amherst. Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss. The hair provides help to restore patients' self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers.
