 Squeaky Wheel will hold an open house along with its first Silent/Sound Screening of local and nationally made films and videos starting at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, inside 712 Main St., Buffalo. Screening includes "Portraits of Main Street," a documentary made by Buffalo Youth Media Institute. At 8:30 p.m., the screening moves outdoors where live bands will be scoring a variety of local and national films and videos. Applications will be available for this year's Buffalo Youth Media Institute, which will be focusing on Buffalo's waterfront. Applications are due Oct. 3.  A drawing will be held at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at Pettibones Restaurant at Dunn Tire Park for the New York State Restaurant Association Scholarship and Education Raffle. Maximum of 300 tickets will be sold. Donation: $100, $25 for additional guests.
