Groom's great-uncle officiates at nuptials

Christine Harder married Gregory Banks in an afternoon ceremony on July 15, 2006 at St. Mary's Church in Swormville. The Rev. Robert Yetter and the Rev. Evan Banks, great-uncle of the groom, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Susan and Patrick Harder of Rochester. The groom is the son of Mary T. and Neal E. Banks of East Amherst.
The bride was escorted by her father.
She wore a strapless, A-Line, satin gown with silver embroidery and a tulle veil with silver threading accents. She carried a bouquet of pink Gerbera daisies, white lilies and stephanotis.
The maids of honor were Lisa Harder, sister of the bride, and Lisa Loray, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Elle Breloff, Sue Demetropolis, Kelli Knople, Wendy Pundt and Kelly Yorio, friends of the bride. The flower girls were Melissa Antalek and Rebecca Parada, cousins of the bride.
The best man was Michael T. Banks, brother of the groom. The ushers were Tim Brown, Greg Gaulocher, Justin Meeks, Matthew Voigt, Lucas Weaver and Chris Zaganiaczyk, friends of the groom. The ring bearer was Jeff Tepas, cousin of the groom.
A reception was held at Banchetti's in Amherst. After a honeymoon to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple resides in Cheektowaga.
