BNl-Northern Networkers Chapter will be having its weekly network meeting at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3 at The Screening Room 3131 Sheridan Drive, Amherst. There will be a presentation by Darlene Surncey of Key Bank. Visitors are welcome. For more information, call Garry Krause 695-9382.

Robert Degenhart of Williamsville, of dmg world media, was recently promoted to show manager of the Buffalo Home and Garden Show. Degenhart will manage all aspects of

the show from exhibit sales to promotions, and show coordination. He has received such honors as the dmg Rookie of the year at the dmg National Sales Conference in 2002 and was selected to represent the dmg National Sales Team.

Stahlka Agency, a member of the EMS Group, has opened its new corporate office, located at 6724 Main St. in Williamsville. With the move came new equipment, new technology and more space. The building, which is 8,500 square feet, is three times

larger than their previous facility. The expansion will allow the firm to immediately hire a new customer service representative. In addition, they hope to hire four-five affiliated representatives and support personnel over the next six-12 months. For additional information, call 634-7070.

The Apartment Council of Western New York will begin its Certified Apartment Manager Program from 5:45 to 9:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2 and the program runs for eight consecutive Mondays.

Quality Inspection Services recently produced a DVD that gives an in depth look at what it does in all areas of inspection and testing. This video was produced by a new division of QIS, Quality Media Services and directed by Jeremy Furlani of Amherst. Furlani worked to get QIS and QMS into the public eye, and has now completed 13 episodes of a television program, T 2 Green.
