O'Loughlin appointed as commissioner of insurance fund

William A. O'Loughlin Jr., an investment advisor with O'Loughlin Financial Group - Brookstreet Securities and an Amherst Town Board Member, has been appointed by Gov. George E. Pataki and confirmed by the New York State Senate to be a commissioner of the New York State Insurance Fund.
"I will put my more than 40 years of financial experience to work for both the business community and employee workforce throughout New York State," O'Loughlin said.
The State Insurance Fund is New York's largest worker's compensation and disability benefits carrier with offices located in 11 cities throughout New York
State. O'Loughlin made the announcement on Sept. 18.
