H e re comes the bride

The Amherst Players are set to get married for their first production of the 2006-07 season, "A Perfect Wedding," Thursday, Sept. 28, through Saturday, Oct. 7.

Those who have planned the perfect wedding can tell you that not everything comes out perfect. A groom-to-be wakes up on his wedding day, hung over from his stag party and in bed with a strange woman - and his bride-to-be is set to arrive any moment.

"A Perfect Wedding," written by Robin Hawdon and directed by Bob Alonzo, features, pictured left to right: Jeff Stahl, Monish Bhattacharyya, Eileen Stevic and Melissa Pidanick. Not pictured: Linda Kling. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays to Saturdays and 1:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Harlem Road Community Center, 4255 Harlem Road in Snyder.
