Diamond Twirling Corp to hold registration

The CC Diamond Twirling Corp is now holding registration for baton lessons for its upcoming semester.

Registration night is scheduled from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22 at the Clarence United Methodist Church, 10205 Greiner Road, at the corner of Strickler Road.

Due to construction at the local schools, the classes will also be held at the church.

Classes for students in kindergarten through fifth grades will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. and 5 to 6 p.m., and classes for grade 6 through high school will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Classes begin Friday, Sept. 29 and continue through Friday Jan. 19.

Baton lessons are taught, and then interested participants are encouraged to participate in competitions and summer parades.

The registration fee is $65; batons are measured and are available. CC Diamonds is a not-for-profit organization.
