Sept. 23 Miss Greater Niagara 2007 Nineteen young women from across the Western New York area will be competing for the title, the crown and the opportunity to win their share of more than $2,000 in scholarship money beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23 at Niagara Falls High School Performing Arts Theatre. Zoo Vet Tech Workshop 10 a.m.-noon, Buffalo Zoo, 300 Parkside Ave., Buffalo. Children in grades 5-8 learn what it takes to care for animals at the zoo and sharpen their observation skills along the way.
