Restaurants to participate in Dine Out for the Cure

Nearly 40 restaurants will join forces to participate and raise money for The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation's second annual Dine Out for the Cure event.

The appetizing action to benefit breast cancer education, screening and treatment will take place Tuesday, Sept. 26. Participating restaurants will donate a percentage of all meal sales from a special "pink menu" on the day of the event.

Money raised will be used to support Komen's grants program, which supports funds in Western New York. Representatives from the foundation will hand out pink lapel ribbons and breast health information to diners at each restaurant.
