Paul G. Cabral and Krissy M. Bova

Marilyn and Michael Bova of Cape Coral, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Krissy Michaelyn Bova, to Paul George Cabral, son of Zelia Raposa of Dartmouth, Mass., and Jorge Cabral of Portugal.

Miss Bova received her Bachelor of Science degree in forensic chemistry from Buffalo State College. She is a sixth-grade science teacher at Oasis Charter Middle School in Cape Coral.

Her fiance is a graduate of the International College with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. He is a sergeant in the patrol division at the Collier County Sheriff's Office in Naples, Fla.

The couple met while working for the Collier County Sheriff's Department where Miss Bova was a crime scene investigator and her fiance was a homicide detective.

A December 2007 wedding in Naples, Fla., is planned.
