Music Is Art Live @ The Center returns

The fourth season of Music Is Art Live @ The Center kicks off with Doria Roberts and Picture This at 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, at the Atrium, located at the Center for the Arts, UB North Campus, Amherst.

In 1999, Roberts won a slot to appear at Lilith Fair. She was poised to sign to a major label, however, a piece of legislation prompted the activist in Roberts to step away from lucrative offers and release her own record.

Other concerts in the live series include: Davey O. and 53 Days, Oct. 3 Maria Sebastian and McCarthyizm, Oct. 16 Lisa Rose and Electromat, Oct. 24 Kerilea Butler and Stone Row, Nov. 7 John Schmitt and The Maelestrom Percussion Ensemble, Nov. 14

Concerts are free and open to all ages.
